The emergence of Paarl Labels as a separate entity within the Paarl Media Group in 2005 was motivated by the need to build a more specialised operation to meet client’s specific labeling requirements. Substantial investment in both leading edge technology and staff development saw the business established as fore runner in South Africa in the delivery of the highest quality, innovative pressure sensitive label solutions.
Whilst retaining the sound foundation established within the Novus Holdings of clients, stable staff and management expertise, supplier relationships, technology and systems, the recent shift in ownership, reflected in the new name Lebone Paarl Labels, was further driven by the desire to create a more focused, nimble operation with optimal empowerment ratings. We now have the flexibility to deliver a truly personal service built around each client’s requirement, backed by the reliable delivery of pressure sensitive labels of uncompromised quality.
With existing staff and management, premises and equipment remaining in place to ensure service continuity, we continue to proactively drive leading edge quality and innovation to exceed expectations through investing in our people, systems, technology and capacity. This will enhance delivery to our established and valued business partners, whilst offering a more compelling label printing solution to the broader market.

ISO 9001 certification
Lebone Paarl Labels holds an ISO 9001 certification. This is the international standard for a quality management system. In order to be certified to the ISO 9001 standard, a company must follow the requirements set forth in the ISO 9001 Standard to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements, and to demonstrate continuous improvement.
FSSC 22000
The Foundation Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) offers a complete certification Scheme for the auditing and certification of Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS). The issued certificate confirms that the organisation’s food safety management system is in conformance with the Scheme requirements and that they are able to maintain compliance with these requirements.
Mellow Colour
Perfect colour is not negotiable for high quality labels. Our designated Colour Champion focuses on continuous improvement through the measurement and analysis of colour to ensure consistent, accurate colour appearance, conforming to the international ISO 12647 quality standards. We use D50 lighting in colour critical areas for viewing prints and proofs. Our printing equipment and consumables combinations have been optimised to meet the targets and tolerances of the ISO 12647 Specification - plus the demanding grey balance appearance targets of the Mellow Colour Quality Management System.
